Moong lentil soup with coriander
Moong lentil 100gm
Red onion 1small
Ginger10gm
Garlic stems 5stems
Coriander roots 50gm
Tomatoes 50gm
Cumin seed10 gm
Coriander seeds 10gm
Yellow chilli powder 10gm
Salt i tea spoon
Ghee 50gm
Lemon juice 40ml
Preparation
Roughly cut onion, tomato, ginger, garlic and coriander roots.
Method
Heat ghee in a pot and put seeds, allow to crackle. Add roughly cut vegetables, yellow chill powder and lentil. Saute for 5 minutes and add salt ,water. Boil the mixture and slow down the fire. Let it simmer for 2 hours. When lentil is mashed pass through a strainer add lemon juice and mix well
Serve hot, garnish with coriander leaves.
